Update on JAMB Direct Entry Registration Form

The JAMB Direct Entry Registration Form 2023 is now available, having been delayed from its original date of Monday, February 20th.

The good news is that the joint admission and matriculation board has officially published the official start date for the purchase of the Direct Entry Registration Form 2023.

Direct entrance applicants should be aware that the official deadline is March 20, 2023. The DE form is for people who already have a National Diploma Certificate (ND) or a Higher Diploma Certificate (HND) and want to study at university.

Depending on the school, these individuals would be admitted to the 200 level or even the 300 level.

JAMB Direct Entry (DE) 2023 Requirements

DE Jamb’s To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in no more than two sittings, with two specified subjects taken at the Principal or Advanced level in each discipline. At either the Ordinary or Advanced Level, no topic may be taken more than once.
  • Two passes at the IJMB, Cambridge, JUPEB, or Institute of Baccalaureate Advanced-Level Examination (in required courses for each field), plus SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC, or equivalent in three other fields.
  • S.C.E., NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in three other topics (primarily for educational courses), and ND in two of the NCE’s main disciplines. In education courses, a third A’Level subject may be authorized.
  • Applicants should be advised that they will be required to produce their JAMB registration number, which they used to gain admission to NCE and Diploma programs, in order to be considered for Direct Entry admission.
  • All candidates must have a National Identity Number (NIN).
  • O’Level qualifications and a national diploma or national innovation diploma with a minimum lower credit score.

How Can I Apply for JAMB Direct Entry 2023

If you want to receive a DE Jamb form, follow these steps:

  • You must first create a JAMB profile.
  • A registration fee of three thousand five hundred Naira (N3,500) is required, plus a 500 Naira surcharge. The 500 NGN is for a reading material called “The Final Days at Forcados High School,” and it is the only one that DE candidates must pay.
  • Applicants are strongly advised to keep their security information, such as registration numbers, passwords, ATM card numbers, email addresses, and e-PINs, as private and confidential as possible.
  • Applicants should be aware that their e-PINS are unique to their profiles and cannot be shared.
  • Furthermore, a free CD including the JAMB e-Syllabus, e-Brochure, and other important materials is provided.

Jamb Direct Entry D.E Profile Registration

  • Every candidate must utilize a unique phone number (SIM) during the registration procedure. This unique phone number can only be used by one candidate at a time in order to maintain your unique identity throughout all contacts with the board.
  • The Applicant must text their National Identification Number (NIN) to 66019 or 55019 from their phone number. For example, type “NIN” followed by a space, then enter your 11-digit ID number and email it to 66019 or 55019. There should be a space between the word “NIN” and your 11-digit NIN.

(Please keep in mind that the number cannot have already been used by another person to apply for the UTME/DE.)

  • On the same phone number, the Candidate will receive a 10-character profile code.
  • This process’s phone number is intrinsically related to the applicant’s 2023 application, Examination, and Admission.
  • The candidate must submit their profile code to (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, and USSD Partners) in order to acquire a form. A text message with the form’s e-PIN is sent to the candidate’s phone number.
  • For registration, candidates must submit their e-PIN at any Jamb-approved center.
  • Before the form can be submitted, the applicant’s biometric (all ten fingers) must be accurately documented. After their biometrics and photo have been successfully collected, applicants can print their e-registration form. All future contacts with JAMB about the candidate’s profile will necessitate the submission of a fingerprint.
  • Candidates with biometric challenges can only apply at the JAMB headquarters in Abuja.
  • Only applicants whose fingerprint authentication had been accepted will be permitted to take the UTME on test day. Changes to a candidate’s profile may not be made by a proxy or guardian.

General Direct Entry Registration Information

  • All candidates must first and mandatory activate their profiles by text messages, as mentioned above, before purchasing the ePIN.
  • The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • Centers are only permitted to collect a registration fee of seven hundred Naira (700), as is normal. Any center that collects more than Seven Hundred Naira (700) must notify JAMB so that appropriate penalties can be imposed.
  • All CBT centers must select one of the participating banks, MMOs, MFBs, etc. The purpose of having these financial organizations present at CBT centers is to ensure that no CBT center employee engages in a direct cash transaction with applicants.
  • Before beginning the registration process, candidates should read and understand the admission regulations as well as the instructions for completing the online registration.
  • Candidates who register multiple times will be disqualified.
  • Applicants should be informed that they must take a live photograph in order for their acceptance letters and report slips to be stamped. Passport photos that have been stapled or scanned are not acceptable.
  • No one, neither applicants nor staff, will be allowed to enter the testing facility with a watch, phone, electronic device, or any type of pen. Regular pencils are the only ones allowed.
