International students who are enrolling for the first time in one of the University’s departments are eligible for Canada York University Faculty of Science Scholarships.

Scholarship Candidates must have at least an 85% entrance average or better and be involved in activities that demonstrate their leadership.
Scholarship Benefits: Canada York University Faculty of Science Scholarships will cover all qualifying students’ tuition fees for the academic year.

Eligibility Requirements for York University Scholarships 2024:

To be considered for this Scholarship, all applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have at least an 85% admission average or higher;
• Applicants must be international students;
• Students must be in their first year of a program;
• Students must be able to demonstrate excellent leadership abilities;
• Applicants must submit an application for admission by the scholarship deadline.
• Applicants from other countries may be required to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to study there.

Applicants must be admitted to the university and then complete the Student Financial Profile (SFP) for the current session, as well as successfully submit reference letters, personal statements outlining their extracurricular involvement, and all necessary supporting documents to the Canada York University Faculty of Science Scholarships by the scholarship deadline.
