Requirements for Philippine Navy Recruitment, 2023

To be accepted into the Naval Officer Candidate Course, you must meet the following requirements:

  • On the date of entry, you must be at least 21 years old but no more than 27 years old.
  • A natural-born Filipino citizen with a good moral character is required.
  • Both male and female applicants must have a barefoot height of at least 152.4 centimeters or 5.0 feet.
  • You must be single and have no dependent children.
  • There must be no pending civil or criminal cases.
  • Has a baccalaureate degree (ideally in a technical field).
  • The Physical Fitness Test must be passed.

To participate in the Sailor/Marine Basic Course, you must have the following qualifications:

  • On the date of admission, you must be at least 18 years old but no more than 26 years old.
  • A natural-born Filipino citizen with a good moral character is required.
  • Both male and female applicants must have a barefoot height of at least 152.4 centimeters or 5.0 feet.
  • You must be single and have no dependent children.
  • There must be no pending civil or criminal cases.
  • Has completed 12 years of basic education from kindergarten to grade 12 or has completed at least 72 units of collegiate coursework from a government-recognized educational institution. Applicants who have completed a TESDA technical course are also invited to apply.
  • The Physical Fitness Test must be passed.
