General Qualifications
The PAF has two types of personnel: Officer Candidates and Candidate Soldiers. To be eligible for training as an Officer Candidate, you must have a bachelor’s degree and be at least 21 but no more than 29 years old.

To be eligible for Officer Candidate or Candidate Soldier, you must be a natural-born citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, of good moral character, single, have never been married, have no legal obligation to support a child or children, and be at least 152.4 centimeters or five (5) feet tall, for both male and female.
Indigene applicants who fall short of the minimum height requirement should get confirmation from the National Commission of Indigenous People. For military training, you must also be physically and intellectually fit.
