He stated that 3,200 positions for Road Marshal assistants and 1,000 positions for Marshal Inspectorate cadre were made available.

Oyeyemi stated that they would go through various stages of assessment, including credentials screening, which has already begun, an aptitude test to be administered by the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), interview screening, and drug testing.

He noticed various abnormalities, such as the appearance of married women who were not meant to take part in the recruitment process.

He was particularly bothered by the presence of pregnant women and applicants who were shorter than the required height.

Oyeyemi thanked the military and the Department of State Security Services (DSS) for their assistance in ensuring the screening went smoothly.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has recently announced the start of its recruitment process for the year 2023.

Interested applicants must meet certain eligibility criteria to be considered for the available positions.

According to the FRSC recruitment requirements, applicants must possess a First Degree/HND from a recognized institution of learning and an NYSC discharge certificate/exemption certificate.

Additionally, all applicants must be citizens of Nigeria and possess strong teamwork skills.

The recruitment process will involve several stages, including a written examination, a physical fitness test, and an interview. Candidates who successfully pass all the stages will be considered for training and deployment.

FRSC Recruitment Update on Deadline

The application deadline and required documents for the FRSC recruitment process have been announced.

The application form is available on the FRSC recruitment portal, and interested applicants are advised to apply before the closing date.

Along with the application form, candidates are required to submit several documents, including:

• – Educational certificates
• – Birth certificate/age declaration
• – Certificate of origin
• – National identity card

All documents submitted must be original and valid, and candidates are advised to ensure that they meet all the necessary requirements before submitting their applications.

Successful candidates in the FRSC recruitment process will undergo training before deployment.

The training will cover various aspects of road safety, including traffic management, accident prevention, and emergency response.

Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will be deployed to various locations across the country to carry out their duties.

400 graduates turned up for the FRSC screening exercise in Kebbi

Over 400 graduates from various fields gathered in Kebbi State on Monday for the federal Roads Safety Corps recruitment screening exercise.

The screening process will continue for five days, according to sector commander Yusuf Haruna Kiru, who is also the chairman of the local organizing committee. “Today and tomorrow will be for graduates only, while Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be for Diploma, NCE, and school certificate holders,” he said.

He said that the screening committee included members of the Federal Character Commission, who are responsible for ensuring that the exercise reflects federal character, as well as officials of careers and special responsibilities from the Kebbi state government and corps marshall representative Ramalan M Yarima.

Kiru, who confirmed appropriate security at the screening location, said DSS officers, police, and the NSCDC are on the ground to ensure the screening runs smoothly.

According to him, the screening committee’s mandate is to verify the authenticity of applicants’ certificates, compile and send them to the National Headquarters of the Federal Road Safety Corps for the continuation of the recruitment exercise.

He urged the applicants to be law abiding and to exhibit the best of conduct during and after the exercise.

Helen Baba Sule from Zuru, who studied animal health and production, said she came to be screened in the hope of being enlisted.

“I have served since but no job, so I see this as an opportunity to get enlisted to be able to fend for myself and my parents things are hard in this country and there are a lot of unemployed graduates as she left not to miss her turn,” she said.
