Criteria for Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program CFSP:

• Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Djibouti, Mauritania, Comoros, and Other African Countries are eligible.
• Candidates who have been recognized and chosen may apply for university courses leading to a master’s or doctoral degree, technical and vocational training, or short-term internships.
• Institutions targeted by recipient countries conduct internal recruitment efforts to discover competent people who demonstrate the highest aptitude for contributing to the strengthening of their institution’s capacity when they return to their home country.
• Clinical experience in pharmacy, medicine, or dentistry is not permitted.
• A quota method is used to choose candidates for each recipient country. The quota model allows recipient countries to establish their own training priorities, as well as the degree of training required for institutional growth.
