All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this Scholarship:

  • As of August 31, 2020, applicants must have completed no more than 48 months of PhD studies;
  • Applicants must be registered at the University of British Columbia as of September 1, 2020;
  • Only in extraordinary circumstances would applicants in their sixth year be admitted.
  • Students must have earned their bachelor’s and master’s degrees with high academic standing; and
  • Applicants must apply for admission by the scholarship deadline.

Applicants must enroll in a degree course work offered by the University of British Columbia in any subject, submit their Canadian common CV along with their application form, meet all English language requirements set by the university, and successfully document to the University of British Columbia by the scholarship deadline.
